Originally, these images were shot for the book Crocodiles and Alligators of the World written by David Alderton,
Not the easiest of aniimals to work with as they can be unpredictible and most of the pictures were shot with short rather than long lenses, so I was as close as it appears in the picture! The book is now out of print but many of the original pictures are available on Alamy.
